Complaints

We want to hear when something has not worked as it should, so it can be put right and applied as learning.

Who can complain

Commissioners, schools, parents and carers, children and young people, and practitioners can raise a concern about Ridgeway Provision.

How to raise a complaint

Email hello@ridgewayprovision.co.uk with the details of the concern, the placement or enquiry it relates to, and how you would like to be contacted. You can also raise it with your named case contact.

How we handle it

  • Acknowledgement of your complaint
  • Review by someone appropriately independent of the matter where possible
  • Contact with you if we need further information
  • A written response setting out our findings and any actions
  • Immediate escalation where a complaint indicates a safeguarding matter

If you are not satisfied

You can ask for the outcome to be reviewed by a senior member of the Ridgeway Provision team. Commissioners may also raise the matter through their contract-management route.

Safeguarding concerns

If a child is at risk of harm, contact your local authority children's services or the police immediately. Safeguarding concerns relating to Ridgeway Provision should be reported to our Designated Safeguarding Lead without delay.
