Every Ridgeway service is delivered 1:1, managed by a named case contact and evidenced from the first session through to transition.

Service

QTS 1:1 Tuition

When it may be appropriate: Where a child requires qualified teacher input to maintain curriculum progress while away from their usual education setting.
Delivery environment: Home, school, appropriate community venue or online.
Likely practitioner profile: Qualified teachers with relevant key stage and subject experience.
Monitoring and review: Session records against agreed learning objectives, attendance capture and a six-week review with the commissioner.

Service

When it may be appropriate: Where learning needs, EHCP-related educational outcomes or sensory and communication needs require a specialist approach.
Delivery environment: Home, school or another agreed environment suited to the child's needs.
Likely practitioner profile: Practitioners with SEND teaching or specialist support experience relevant to the profile.
Monitoring and review: Objectives aligned to the commissioned outcomes, structured evidence and review against progress and engagement.

Service

When it may be appropriate: Where emotional, social or mental-health needs, anxiety or school avoidance are preventing access to education.
Delivery environment: Home or a low-demand agreed setting, moving toward school-based delivery where appropriate.
Likely practitioner profile: Practitioners experienced in relationship-first, low-arousal and graduated engagement approaches.
Monitoring and review: Engagement and attendance patterns tracked closely, with early escalation of welfare concerns.

Service

When it may be appropriate: Where examination courses must continue during absence or where a specific subject requires specialist teaching.
Delivery environment: Home, school or online.
Likely practitioner profile: Subject specialists with examination-board familiarity for the relevant specification.
Monitoring and review: Curriculum coverage, assessment evidence and progress reported at each review point.

Service

When it may be appropriate: Where a child is preparing to return to school or transition to a named destination.
Delivery environment: Blended between the current delivery environment and the receiving setting.
Likely practitioner profile: Practitioners experienced in phased return and liaison with school staff.
Monitoring and review: A reintegration plan agreed with the commissioner and receiving setting, reviewed as the phased return progresses.

Service

When it may be appropriate: Where online delivery is suitable for the child and agreed as appropriate by the commissioner.
Delivery environment: Online, with agreed supervision and safeguarding arrangements in place.
Likely practitioner profile: Practitioners experienced in engaging 1:1 online teaching.
Monitoring and review: Attendance, engagement and session evidence recorded in the same structure as in-person provision.

Service

When it may be appropriate: Where a child requires structured educational support alongside or ahead of teaching input, and this is appropriate to the commissioned outcomes.
Delivery environment: Home, school or an appropriate community setting.
Likely practitioner profile: Appropriately qualified SEND mentors and education support practitioners.
Monitoring and review: Objectives, session evidence and review handled under the same case management process.

Pricing

Pricing is agreed according to the child's needs, provision specification, delivery location and volume commissioned.

Any referral approaching full-time education or another regulatory boundary is subject to specific review before acceptance.
